Remember Radio Bingo on Tuesday nights?
Not only did we have lots of fun and give away lots of money, but we were also able to give back to our community!
Lion President Don Sinclair and the Orangeville Lions along with Sarah Sawchyn from FM101 Orangeville (Pictured Above) presented Headwaters Health Centre’s KC Carruthers with a cheque for $24,000 towards new laser eye surgery equipment at the hospital.
Last week, a $2,487.00 cheque was presented to Family Transition Place.
Previously, $5,000 was donated to Lions Clubs International Foundation to be used for Ukrainian Humanitarian Relief,
$5,000 to Big Brother Big Sisters of Dufferin and District,
$2,500 to Choices Youth Shelter towards their Men’s Shelter initiative
and $2,500 went to the Orangeville and Headwaters Minor Baseball Association towards renovations to “the Shack”.
