Police say a Caledon man who died Monday morning was shot in a vehicle before he was involved a single-vehicle crash in Mississauga.
Following the early morning crash, the 24-year-old man was transported to a trauma centre where he was later pronounced dead.
Officers responded to a collision call on Dixie Road, south of Derry Road, around 2am, Jan. 20 where they found a man with serious injuries.
It was later determined the man was shot while in a vehicle near Mid-Way Boulevard and Invader Crescent, just south of the crash scene.
