A Halton man is among a group facing charges following a bust at multiple residences this fall.
Over the summer, the Guelph Police Service Break Enter Auto Theft Unit began an investigation into two males involved in trafficking drugs and possessing stolen property. In September, search warrants were executed at three addresses with assistance from the OPP and the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS).
As a result of the search warrants, officers recovered quantities of suspected crystal methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl with an estimated total value of more than $14,000. Officers also recovered several real and replica firearms, a stolen crossbow, a homemade conducted energy weapon and suspected stolen property including more than 40 bicycles, three motorcycles, tools and a riding lawnmower.
Two Guelph men, aged 51 and 41, as well as a 40-year-old Halton man were arrested at that time on charges including possessing controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking, possessing stolen property over $5,000, possessing prohibited weapons and breaching court orders.
On Wednesday, a 34-year-old Erin woman was arrested by the HRPS and is charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possessing stolen property over $5,000 and unauthorized possession of a weapon. She was returned to Guelph and held for a bail hearing.
