A number of exhibitions have been announced for the Helson Gallery in Halton Hills.
Several local artists will have their work displayed in the Sisnett Lobby of the Cultural Centre.
The Square Foot Show & Sale will be on view until Sunday, December 1st in the upper Sisnett Lobby. Experience the creativity of local artists as they tackle the challenge of working within a 12” x 12” format in this unique exhibition. Discover a diverse range of artworks, most of which will be available for purchase.
At the same time, visit the lower Sisnett Lobby to view Paintings by Gary Brunt (1943 – 2019), a Canadian artist who lived and worked in Georgetown. He was known for his bold abstract designs and striking use of colour.
Starting in December, the Holiday Show and Sale will be on display from Monday, December 2nd – Sunday, February 2nd in the Sisnett Lobby. The Town is calling it a fantastic opportunity to discover the perfect gift for the upcoming holiday season! By choosing these one-of-a-kind gifts, you support talented local artists and artisans.
“I am thrilled to see these exhibitions showcasing the incredible artistic talent within our community,” says Halton Hills Mayor Ann Lawlor. “Supporting local artists strengthens our community bonds.”
The Helson Gallery is located at 9 Church Street in Georgetown and is open Wednesday to Saturday 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
