Members of the Caledon Detachment of the OPP have laid charges in connection with a break and enter investigation.
On September 26th, a break and enter was reported at a residence on Valleygreen Crescent, in Caledon. High-valuable items were stolen, including vehicle key fobs.
On October 1st police were called while the suspect was back at the same residence to steal a vehicle but wasn’t successful. Officers attended and located the suspect vehicle and seized it.
On that same day, the Caledon Community Street Crime Unit, with the assistance of the Dufferin OPP CSCU, executed a search warrant for both the vehicle and a residence. Evidence, including stolen property and currency, was located and seized.
As a result of the investigation, a 31 year old man from Maple has been charged.
