Classic cartoon show ‘Rugrats’ is reportedly getting a LIVE ACTION movie.
This has been met with pretty negative reactions, especially with the report adding that it’ll feature CGI babies…
What do you think? Do cartoon shows & movies need live action versions?
Let me know!

ICYMI – Glass Tiger and Strumbellas headline 2024 season at FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton
The FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton has been ROCKING the last few years, and it appears this next season is going to be no different. They released their 2024 schedule this week, with lots of lineup details. When I combed through the listings, the biggest ones that stood out to me were Glass Tiger and Strumbellas coming to town, mainly because we played multiple songs from both bands. You can also catch tribute shows for ABBA and Tony Bennett, which should be a lot of fun. The new season starts this month!
Daily WTF – Painting found by junk dealer in cellar is original Picasso, experts claim
For decades, a man has had a random painting. He found it while cleaning out the cellar of a home as part of his job back in 1962. There was something about it, so he framed it and hung it up in his living room, despite the fact that his wife hated it. She called it horrible and begged him to get rid of it. Turns out, experts claim this painting is an original piece by famous artist, Pablo Picasso. It recently was valued at six million euros. It’s a good thing he didn’t throw it out!

Probably just me.
Billy Joel Announces 2025 US Stadium Concerts With Big Names
The Piano Man is going on tour! After ending his ten year residency at Madison Square Garden, it was announced that Billy Joel will hit the road. He’ll be doing a full US tour, performing stadium shows and is expected to be joined by massive acts like Stevie Nicks and Sting. Joel did announce two UK shows, but nothing north of the border. So, keep your fingers crossed – we might get Billy Joel in Toronto… It just might take a while. The tour starts next year!
GOOD NEWS – 6-year-old boy starts ‘poop scooping’ business to make money to adopt a cat
For a lot of parents, it’s hard to tell your kids that you can’t afford a pet. They’re expensive and you have to do all the work. So, when 6-year-old Luca Arpin was told his parents couldn’t afford to adopt a cat, he went to work. He started a business where he’d go door-to-door and scoop the poop that dog owners have in their yards. ‘Poopa Scoopa Luca’ has been a hit in the Rhode Island town, so much so that Luca was able to afford to adopt little Pebble. He’s cleaned up some homes, and given a cat a forever home… And that’s some good news!
True North strong: Canada ranks among world’s best countries
We might live in a very expensive country, but it seems there’s a reason why we’re here. Condé Nast published its 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards. Included in the list of travel topics were the top countries in the world that folks love to visit. Canada did pretty well! We ranked 14th, just ahead of France. Japan actually topped the list, followed by Portugal and Turkey. Italy and Spain rounded out the top five. If you got a free paid trip to go anywhere in the world, where are you going? Is it any of these top five countries, or is it somewhere else? Let me know!
NASA is giving the moon its own time zone
It might be hard for you and I to deal with jet lag, but imagine what it’s like for astronauts! We have to deal with the time difference whenever we go to places like London and Tokyo, but so do the people who fly up into space. That’s why NASA has decided the time zones will no longer be restricted to Earth. They’re going to give the moon it’s own time zone! Time apparently moves a faster over on our favourite satellite, so experts are working on figuring out just how to lay that out. The moon and other celestial bodies are expected to have official time zones by 2026. Just wait until our phone plans include long distance phone calls to the moon! That’ll be something.
