September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Today, we honor the children who never returned home from residential schools, as well as Survivors, their families, and communities.
It’s crucial for us as a community, to acknowledge the tragic history and ongoing impacts of residential schools as part of the reconciliation process.
Take some time today to reflect, learn, show compassion and respect, as we acknowledge the truth of history here in Canada.
