Residents of Dufferin County, especially rural homeowners, are invited to attend a Septic Social Workshop hosted by Credit Valley Conservation.
The event is designed to help landowners maintain their septic systems and protect local drinking water sources.
At the workshop, attendees will watch a live septic pump-out and learn how their systems work, the dangers of wastewater, and tips for preventing costly repairs.
There will also be advice on troubleshooting and potential funding opportunities for maintenance.
Experts from CVC will be on hand to answer questions.
With rural properties common in Dufferin County, this is a great chance to ensure your septic system stays in top shape.
The event will be held on October 5th, from 9 to 11 a.m. at a local property in Alton.
Registration is required by October 3rd HERE. The event will go ahead, rain or shine.
This initiative is part of CVC’s 70-year mission to protect the environment and promote sustainability in the Credit River Watershed.
