In Orangeville, many of our organizations, community groups, and events rely on volunteers to provide services and activities for our residents and beyond.
National Volunteer Week celebrates the approximately 24 million Canadians who give their time through various types of volunteering.
Mayor Post, Councillor Joe Andrews, and Councillor Debbie Sherwood joined Volunteer Dufferin for the proclamation at Town Hall.
Locally, 2,723 individuals and 179 member organizations are registered with VolunteerDufferin.ca — with many more involved in different volunteer commitments throughout our community.
The collective result of the work done by these incredible community members help make Orangeville a more desirable place to live.
