Caledon OPP have laid charges in connection to a fatal three-vehicle collision on Highway 9 on May 11th.
Caledon OPP and emergency crews responded to the call involving two motorcycles and a pickup truck.
One driver, a 51-year-old from Shelburne, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Another, a 52-year-old female from Orangeville, was airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre and later succumbed to her injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 66-year-old male from Brampton, was charged with:
• Careless driving causing death – two counts
The accused is scheduled to appear in Court later this month.
In 2023 to date, an alarming 15 people have died in 13 fatal collisions on Caledon OPP-patrolled roads.
