A grocery store and a food drive just makes sense!
FreshCo opened its doors in Milton this week. The new grocery store is located at 9060 Louis St. Laurent Avenue, at the intersection with Thompson Road. It’s currently the sole occupant in a new plaza that will seemingly include several banks and a fried chicken restaurant.
To kick-off its opening, FreshCo teamed up with several local partners to hold the first-ever Stuff-A-Sierra Food Drive. Alongside FM 101 Milton at this food drive, there was the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation, Team Tiger Real Estate, Scotiabank, Wallace Chevrolet, and the Halton Regional Police Service.
Store franchisee Dan Deruyter says the goal with the food drive was to help out the community that has welcomed his new store with open arms.
