Always be aware of the signs on the sides of the road.
It seems a truck driver moving through Milton ignored a sign that said ‘Trucks Prohibited’ and drove down a section of Appleby Line. This truck then drove up a dangerous hill during a snowstorm.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) were able to be on-site and stopped the truck. The driver is facing multiple charges as a result.
Appleby Line north of Derry Road was closed for Thursday afternoon as officers worked to get the truck out of the area.
