The Dufferin Board of Trade has received funding to help support businesses that support tourism in Dufferin County.
The Dufferin Tourism Trails project will give local participants the opportunity to participate in coaching sessions, which will cover key topics our local businesses and tourism operators need to stay relevant, compliant, and in-demand.
To promote their top-level services and experiences for visitors, a network of virtual trails across Dufferin will highlight businesses in nine specific categories:
Live + Work Local, Black-Owned, Women-Owned, Pet-Friendly, LGBTQ+ Safe Spaces, Environmentally Responsible, Socially Responsible, Accessible, and Tourism Attraction.
DBOT says participating businesses will benefit from their videography and advertising campaigns which will lead to increased traffic on their websites and through their doors.
