There are 5,790 new reported cases of Covid-19 in Ontario today.
169 people are in ICU, 137 of which are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status.
Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health has reported 31 new cases in Dufferin County, and 142 active cases.
A new benefit program for businesses impacted by the recent change in public health measures, will cover up to half of the property taxes and energy costs.

The province has also implemented a new policy, to protect hospital staffing levels as new Covid-19 cases continue to rise.
Hospital workers in Ontario who have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19, do not have to stay home from work as long as they continue to test negative for the virus daily.
Workers who have been in contact with a positive case, must take a P-C-R test as soon as possible and repeat the test on Day 7.
