The Orangeville Flyers U13 AA team hosted a Food Drive during their matchup against the Oakville Rangers over the weekend.
A tough 7-3 loss to the Oakville Red Rangers didn’t hinder the teams ability to give back to those in need for the holiday season, putting together a generous donation for the Orangeville Food Bank.
Fm101 spoke with head coach Andrew Rahn about teaching his team about the importance of giving back to the community.
Despite the tough loss on Saturday night, the team pulled together a 4-2 victory over the Oakville Blue Rangers on Sunday afternoon.
The U13 AA Orangeville Flyers are 18-1-4 on the season.
They take on the Guelph Gryphons next Monday at the Alder Rec Centre.
