Today, Orangeville Transit celebrates 30 years of service to our community.
Founded in December of 1991, Orangeville Transit’s original fleet consisted of two fully accessible minibuses, making the transit system fully accessible since it was first established.
“The Town of Orangeville is embracing technologies that allow us to better communicate services to our residents,” said Mayor Sandy Brown.
“Thirty years in, Orangeville Transit provides a valuable service as it continues to respond to evolving demands.”
in 2022, Orangeville Transit will see major enhancements to its operation adding a new terminal that’s currently in the design stages.
The Orangeville Transit system we see running today, has a fleet of four 30-foot busses with more scheduled to arrive in 2023.
The bus app is a perfect example of the improvement in service Orangeville Transit has made, insuring the system is always convenient to use.
