Truth and Reconciliation Day is this Thursday, September 30th.
The day will honour the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities.
We caught up with Sarah Ritchie, member of the Metis Nation of Ontario, to speak about the importance of the First Truth and Reconciliation Day, here in Canada.
Members of the community are invited to join Sarah this Wednesday, at the Orangeville Public Library, for a presentation in commemoration of Truth and Reconciliation Day.
Sarah will be speaking about diversity and inclusion, from and Indigenous perspective.
