The Green Party of Ontario are calling on government leaders, to protect the Greenbelt by cancelling Highway 413 and the Holland Marsh Highway.
On July 24th, members from communities across the GTA participated in the No More Highways Day of Action — with Ontario Green candidate Laura Campbell, who joined the events in her riding of Dufferin-Caledon.
MyFM caught up with Laura, to chat more about whether the investment into new highways, is a good move for the province right now.

If implemented, the highways would pave over farms, forests, wetlands and a some of the Greenbelt.
Campbell added that that Highway 413 could cost taxpayers up to 10 billion dollars.
