Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health is prepared to perform 10,000 vaccinations per day once it gets its hands on more vaccines.
Last Wednesday (Feb. 10), Public Health presented a robust mass immunization plan to Ontario’s COVID-19 Vaccination Distribution Task Force.
The plan would be carried out through Public Health hub and mobile clinics, as well as partner led clinics headed by the Guelph Family Health Team, University of Guelph and Linamar.
The program is ready to inoculate at least 75 percent of the population aged 16 and over by early August once Public Health gets its hands on that quantity of vaccines.
