The transit hub proposed on Broadway between First and John streets again drew debate at Orangeville council and now it’s being shelved for the time being.
The BIA and managing partner at Carters Professional Corporation, Terry Carter both made arguments against the transit station location.
Meanwhile, councillor Grant Peters noted buses won’t stop passing through the corridor, regardless of where the transit station will be located.
Council will convene on November 23rd to discuss results of the traffic safety report as well as an option to partner with Dufferin County for a transfer hub by the Edelbrock Centre.
