With a professional background in the social sciences and recreational leadership, Jim Waddington is the quintessential community builder. These days you can catch Jim at every local community event, documenting the community’s history through his photography, while also spearheading community events advocating diversity, such as Celebrate Your Awesome.
Jim credits his Montreal roots for his community outreach and says growing up, he lived in a community in which people of various economic, religious and ethnic backgrounds helped one another, gathered and made art together. His hope is to bring a little bit of that Quebecois panache including diversity, art and inclusion to Orangeville.
