You will see an increase in hydro rates starting late next week.
The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) says the typical residential customer who uses 700 kilowatt hours per month will see an increase of about $1.99 or 1.8 per cent.
According to the OEB, the new rates are in line with the rate of inflation, which the provincial government promised in March.
The rates for households and small businesses will take effect on November 1.
Customers will also see a new line displaying the level of provincial rebates.
