Kim Delahunt’s experience in the healthcare sector and her familiarity with Headwaters may make her the ideal candidate to takeover the role of president and CEO at Headwaters Health Care Centre.
Delahunt was named interim president and CEO a few weeks ago, to continue the momentum started by Stacey Daub who left the hospital last week.
Delahunt says she will also continue to advocate for better funding for medium sized hospitals such as Headwaters.
Delahunt adds that the $1-million overhaul of the emergency department is nearing its final approval from the province. Renovations are expected to start in the new year.
