Families looking for a fun and free outdoor event this spring can head to Mill Pond for the annual Children’s Fishing Derby, hosted by the Halton Sportsmen’s Association.
It’s expected to be a great day for young anglers. The pond will be fully stocked with fresh trout, and kids will have a chance to win prizes and enjoy free food.
Worms will be supplied, but participants are asked to bring their own fishing rods and hooks.
The event runs from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26th at Mill Pond in Milton.
