Cleanup continues across Dufferin County following the ice storm that occurred this weekend.
Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement today, March 31, due to gusty northwesterly winds resulting in continuing impacts from the ice storm. The ice storm has left a thick coating of ice on trees and hydro lines. Although temperatures have risen above freezing and the ice has melted in some areas, strong wind gusts may result in further impacts.
The County calls on our residents to prioritize safety as cleanup continues.
