Dufferin OPP has charged an Orangeville resident with impaired operation related offences as the result of a public complaint call for service.
On March 24, just before 9:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to a call for service in the area of Broadway in Orangeville. Officers were informed that the suspect had left the scene in his vehicle. They were able to locate the accused a short time later.
A 37-year-old male, from Orangeville is now facing numerous charges including:
• Criminal Harassment
• Operation while impaired
• Driving while under suspension
• Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available
The accused individual is currently being held for a bail hearing to address the charges. Additionally, the accused was wanted on a warrant issued by the Grey County OPP for an unrelated matter.
