A Milton man is among a group arrested by the Toronto Police Service in a drug investigation.
On Thursday, March 6th, at roughly 9:00 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop in the Jane Street and Wilson Street area.
It is alleged that officers spotted a speeding vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed. They attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the driver did not stop. With the assistance of additional officers, the vehicle was ultimately brought to a stop
It is further alleged that a quantity of cocaine, Oxycodone and U.S. counterfeit money was located inside the vehicle
24-year-old Britney Graca of Cambridge was arrested and charged with:
- two counts Possession of Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000
- Possession of Counterfeit Money
- Fail to Comply with Release Order
She appeared in court on Friday, March 7th.
31-year-old Marlon Downey of Brampton was arrested and charged with:
- two counts Possession of Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000
He appeared in court on Friday, March 7th.
22-year-old Shahyaan Chowdhury of Milton was arrested and charged with:
- two counts Possession of Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000
He appeared in court on Friday, March 7th.
20-year-old Brooke Dawe was arrested and charged with:
- two counts Possession of Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000
She appeared in court on Friday, March 7th.
