Officers from Caledon OPP have recovered a stolen vehicle and arrested three individuals from an alert by the police vehicle’s Automated Licence Plate Recognition (ALPR) system.
On February 13th just before 2:00 p.m., an officer on patrol in the area of Mayfield Road and Centreville Creek in Caledon received an alert from the ALPR system advising the officer of a stolen vehicle. Officers began a foot pursuit that resulted in the arrest of the vehicle’s three occupants.
A 29 year old male from Vaughan, a 22 year old male from Oakville, and a 22 year old male from Toronto, have all been charged.
