Caledon OPP are continuing their investigation into last Monday’s Facebook Marketplace robbery and are releasing a photograph of the suspect.
On January 20th just before 4:00 p.m., officers responded to a robbery outside of Tony Pontes Public School on Kennedy Road. After agreeing to purchase an iPad, the seller and potential buyer met at the school. Without making any payment, the suspect shoved the victim and fled on foot with the item. No injuries were sustained as a result of the incident.
The suspect is described as a male, 16 to 17 years old, Hispanic / Spanish / or Mediterranean descent, curly hair on top / short on the sides, thin moustache, approx. 5′ 9″, 120 lbs, wearing a black jacket, black or grey hoodie, and red pants. See the attached photograph.
