The Milton Menace had quite the Sunday evening.
On Sunday, January 12th, the Oakville Blades came to town. It took just over a minute for the boys to get on the board, with Madden MacDougall netting his 13th of the year, assisted by Ashtyn Pacheco and Ryder Cali. That was quickly followed up by a goal from
Justin Dezoete. His 5th was assisted by Captain Graeme MacAuley and Cali. It was 2-0 Menace after 20 minutes of action.
In the second period, MacDougall scored his 14th of the year, with Cali and Dean Deligeorgis receiving assists on the play. Before the end of the period, Marco Costante buried his 7th of the year, with help from Kyle Burton and Alexandr Siletskiy. Milton led Oakville 4-0 heading into the final frame.
The third period was all Milton, as Ivan Fabjan scored his 11th of the season, assisted by Tristan Tremble and Nathan Catalano. Catalano then got his own goal. His 8th was assisted by Tristan Tremble and Cole Semeniuk. Before the end of the game, Luke Johnston got on the board, with Spencer Vandenberg and Owen Kindree getting apples. Johnston then put the final nail in the coffin. His 18th got help from Pacheco and MacDougall. The game finally ended with a 8-0 victory for Milton.
Carter Bickle was in net for the Menace. He stopped all 23 shots he faced for the shutout win.
Next up for the Menace is the Georgetown Raiders. They’ll play at the Mold Masters Sportsplex on Wednesday, January 15th at 7:30 p.m.
The Menace then return home on Friday, January 17th to play the Niagara Falls Canucks. Puck drop at the Milton Memorial Arena is set for 7:30 p.m. Buy your tickets for any/all home games here.
