A local intersection was closed for several hours on Thursday, January 2nd.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says that a suspicious package was found in the middle of Dundas and Brant Street. They first notified the public of the closure just after 1:00 p.m. on social media.
Just before 5:00 p.m., the roadway reopened after the package was found to be not dangerous.
The HRPS thanked the public for their patience regarding the closure.
