The Wellington County OPP arrested an Erin resident with two Criminal charges stemming from a single-vehicle collision.
On December 13th at approximately 5:30 p.m., members of the Wellington County OPP attended the scene of a single-vehicle collision on Sideroad 10 within the Town of Erin. As a result of the investigation, A 22-year-old from Erin was charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
There were no injuries as a result of the collision. A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on December 24, 2024.
