Milton’s about to get a lesson in fashion later this month!
On Saturday, December 28th, there will be a Pre-Launch to next year’s Milton Fashion Week. On top of showcasing some of the best looks for the new year, there will be a meet and greet the organizers, models, casting directors, and more, as well as music, food, and giveaways!
Organizer and Entrepreneur Shelley Jarrett is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, magazine publisher, and community leader. Since moving to Milton years ago, she noticed an absence of the fashion industry in the town. That led to her launching Milton’s first ever Fashion Week.
Leading up the event, Jarrett and her partners had an open casting call to find their runway models. They were successful, and will also name a pair of them the Male and Female ‘Face of Milton Fashion Week’ at the event.
The Pre-Launch is scheduled for Saturday, December 28th, starting at 12:00 p.m. and running until 5:00 p.m. at the Milton Lions Club Hall, located at 77 Thompson Road South in Milton.
Milton Fashion Week will be held in July 2025.
