A well being check on a man, apperently left in the back seat of a parked vehicle has led to the arrest of one person.
Police in Barrie watched while two men parked a car on the side of the street, in that city early Wednesday (nov27) morning.
After speaking with the men the officers checked the vehicle and discovered a male lying on the backseat.
Believing the man to be in medical distress, the officers forced their way into the car.
The man was fine medically but was attempting to evade police.
Officers found him to be in possession of a large quantity of drugs, including cocaine, ecstasy, Percocet and fentanyl, as well as a loaded semi-automatic hand gun.
A 37 year old Brampton man is facing a long list of firearms, drug possession and trafficking charges.
