It’s always a good idea to follow your bail conditions.
A 27-year-old Acton man was arrested in Guelph on the evening of Tuesday, November 26th after he was found in possession of a cellphone, contrary to a bail condition.
He was stopped for a traffic offence at 9:40 p.m. near Victoria Road South and Arkell Road. While speaking to him, an officer noted an iPhone in the male’s lap.
Investigation revealed he was out on bail for two counts of possessing child pornography with a condition that he not possess any device capable of storing digital data.
The unnamed man was charged with failing to comply with a bail order and will appear in court again on Tuesday, January 7th.
