Police are investigating an incident involving an individual, armed with a handgun, who shot at numerous vehicles on the 401 in Mississauga early Tuesday (nov26) morning.
Shortly after 5 o’clock OPP received numerous 911 calls reporting that a male was seen shooting at passing vehicles on the 401, near Dixie Road.
The individual then stole a vehicle from a motorist and fled the area.
The incident forced police to close multiple lanes on the 401, 410 and 403 for their investigation.
Police ask if you see this person that you do not approach them, but instead call 911.
As he is considered armed and dangerous
