
Officers from the Caledon Detachment of the OPP have charged two youths in relation to a local high-school investigation.
On November 19th, shortly after 1:00 p.m., officers responded to a weapon-related incident involving two youths at Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School. To ensure everyone’s safety, the school was placed into lockdown shortly after 1:30 p.m.
As a result of the investigation, two 16-year-olds from Brampton have been charged with Possession of a weapon, Trafficking in firearms and unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm. The lockdown was lifted at 330pm and there were no injuries.
The names of the accused are being withheld under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
