Caledon OPP are currently investigating an incident at a local high-school.
On November 19th shortly after 1pm, officers responded to a weapon-related incident involving two youths at Robert F Hall Catholic Secondary School. To ensure everyone’s continued safety, the school was placed into lockdown shortly after 1:30 pm. No injuries were sustained as a result of the situation.
Two youths are currently in police custody. The lockdown was lifted just before 3:30 pm.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 1 triple eight, three-ten, eleven twenty two or Peel Crime Stoppers at 1, eight hundred, two two two TIPS, to remain anonymous.
The OPP take all public safety threats seriously and provide resources necessary to assess and respond to such threats. Caledon OPP would like to thank the community for their patience during this stressful situation.
