The Ontario government is connecting people in Orangeville to better, more convenient emergency and diagnostic care. It is renovating and expanding the emergency and diagnostic imaging departments at Headwaters Health Care Centre to connect more people to the health care they need, where and when they need it.
Sylvia Jones, MPP for Dufferin—Caledon, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health says “The expansion of Headwaters Health Care Centre will allow people and families in the Orangeville community to continue to access the high-quality care they need, where they need it, for years to come.”
Through the relocation of the hospital’s laboratory from the main floor to the lower level, additional space will be created for the hospital to expand its emergency and diagnostic imaging departments. As a next step, the ministry is working with Headwaters Health Care Centre to complete early planning and design for this project. A construction schedule will be confirmed once future planning is complete and the project is tendered and awarded.
