Severe weather researchers say a tornado carved out a long, narrow path of damage in a community near Guelph, on Sunday (nov10).
The Northern Tornadoes Project at Western University says it sent a team to investigate in Fergus, and confirmed a tornado DID indeed touch down there.
The organization says it has assigned a preliminary rating of EF0, which represents wind speeds between 90 and 130 kilometers per hour.
The tornado was a result of a line of strong thunder storms that was passing through Southern Ontario.
