A 66 year old man from Mono is very lucky after falling overboard into Sturgeon Bay yesterday (Nov 7). The boater was wearing a life jacket and had tread water for over an hour when he was rescued by South Georgian Bay OPP after they received a call from a concerned citizen. The man was transported to hospital by paramedics as a precaution. The temperature of the water yesterday: just 10.5 C.
