The Caledon Detachment of the OPP is currently investigating a theft and are requesting the public’s assistance to identify a person of interest.
The preliminary investigation reveals that on October 9, shortly before 1:00 p.m., a female attended a residence on Crestwood Road in Bolton minutes after a courier slip was left at the door. The slip was taken, and the individual returned to their vehicle, a dark blue or black SUV. Using false identification, that same person later went to the courier location and picked up the package, which was purchased using the victim’s credit card. Three separate purchases were made for a total of just under $7,000.
