The Milton Menace went on the road and got a much needed win against the Niagara Falls Canucks.
It happened on Friday, November 1st at the Gale Centre in front of 352 people. Nathan Catalano started the scoring off 8 minutes into the first period, potting his 3rd of the season, assisted by Markus Hicks and Captain Graeme MacAuley. It was 1-0 Menace after 20-minutes of action.
The Canucks would tie things up early in the second, but Madden MacDougall would answer the call, scoring his 5th of the year, assisted by 16-year-old Ryder Cali and leading-scorer Gabriel Ciarallo. Before the end of the period, Gavin Sheehan would net his 3rd of the year as well, with help from Ivan Fabjan and Dean Deligeorgis. Milton took the 3-1 into the second intermission.
In the third period, Milton’s offence went to work. Ciarallo scored his team-leading 13th of the season, assisted by Cali and MacDougall. Less than a minute later, Tristan Tremble got on the board with his 2nd of the year, assisted by Owen Kindree and Cole Semeniuk. With five minutes to go, the Canucks started their comeback. They’d manage two goals in less than a minute.
Ivan Fabjan would answer right back with his 3rd of the year, assisted by Semeniuk and Ashtyn Pacheco. 11 seconds later, Deligeorgis found the net for himself. His 2nd of the year had some help from Tremble and Hicks.
In net for Milton was Austin McKillop. He had a relatively light net, stopping 20 of 23 shots for an .869% save percentage.
