An Oakville couple had a knife pulled on them while outside Stone Road Mall in Guelph.
The Guelph Police Service says that just after 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29th, officers were called for a report of several people fighting outside the mall. An investigation revealed that a couple had come to the city to visit their son and first stopped at the mall. When they came outside they saw their vehicle window smashed and someone inside.
They confronted the woman, who denied she had taken anything and ran away. The couple gave chase but then were confronted by a man, who punched the husband in the face and brandished a large knife.
Guelph Police describe the suspects as:
- Suspect 1 – black female, 5’2” with an athletic build, short hair and a nose piercing
- Suspect 2 – black male, 5’9” with a thin build, very long braided hair and wearing a black sweater and jeans
- They fled in a black Ford Fusion with Quebec licence plates
