Do you like to buy books? How about support your local library? Why not do both!
The Milton Public Library (MPL) has announced the return of their annual Book Sale. Visitors can pick from thousands of pre-loved books and media at unbeatable prices. With over 9,000 titles spanning fiction, non-fiction, children’s literature, and more, there’s something for everyone. In addition to books, patrons can browse a wide range of DVDs, audiobooks, and other media.
Books will be priced at just $2 each, while A/V materials like CDs and DVDs are available for $1. For even more savings, fill an entire box for $10 or an MPL tote bag for $15.
“Our annual Book Sale is one of the many ways MPL fosters community spirit,” says Sarah Douglas-Murray, CEO of Milton Public Library. “This event is perfect for readers of all ages and interests, so bring your family, friends, and book lovers alike.”
Cash, debit, and credit cards will be accepted for added convenience. All proceeds from the sale directly support MPL’s programs and services, enabling the library to continue offering a wide range of inspirational, educational, and community-focused initiatives. From early literacy programs and technology workshops to cultural events and newcomer services, the funds raised help ensure MPL can keep enriching the lives of Milton residents.
This year’s sale will run from Saturday, November 9th to Friday, November 15th (or until supplies last) at the Main Library, located at 1010 Main Street East, inside the Teal Room. The sale will be open Monday to Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
