Police have made 4 arrests in connection to 8 separate bank robberies in areas policed by OPP.
During a news conference earlier today (oct29) police announced the investigation involved multiple law enforcement services across the province.
Investigators say the robberies took place between December 2022 and March 2024, across locations in Western, Central and Eastern Ontario.
OPP Deputy Commissioner Marty Kerns, says investigators were able to identify similar characteristics in each incident.
Police say the group of suspects is responsible for more than $2 million in reported losses from eight separate banks.
The money has not yet been recovered.
One person is still wanted by police.
