Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the OPP have charged two males with impaired operation related offences over the last few days.
On October 19th at about 8:00 p.m., Dufferin OPP were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision the area of Highway 10 in the Town of Mono. The officers arrived on scene and located a vehicle in the ditch along with a male party standing beside the vehicle. During their interaction officers were quickly led to an impaired driving investigation.
A 37-year-old male from Nobleton has been charged with Operation while impaired.
On October 20th at about 9:00 p.m., Dufferin OPP were dispatched to the area of Red Elm Drive in Shelburne for a traffic complaint. During their interaction officers were quickly led to an impaired driving investigation.
A 29-year-old male from Niagara Falls has been charged with Operation while impaired.
The accused individuals are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville. Their driver’s licence was suspended 90 days, and their vehicle impounded for 7 days.
