The Dufferin Detachment of the OPP has charged a Dundalk resident with impaired operation related offences as a result of a traffic stop.
On October 12th, at approximately 1:45 a.m., Dufferin OPP officers were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Main Street and Owen Sound Street in the Town of Shelburne. Officers noted a vehicle which was not able to maintain their lane and conducted a traffic stop. After a brief conversation the officers began an impaired driving investigation.
A 34-year-old male from Dundalk is facing a number of charges. Their driver’s licence was suspended 90 days, and their vehicle impounded for 7 days.
