An unknown man is wanted after allegedly taking photos or videos under a woman’s dress.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says that on Thursday, August 1st, the victim was standing on platform number 3 at the Bronte GO station waiting to board the 4:26 p.m. train eastbound to Toronto’s Union Station.
The suspect was standing near the woman with his phone positioned under her dress. This was seen by multiple witnesses who were seated on the second level of the arriving train.
The witnesses let the woman know what took place once she boarded the train and the man was confronted once he was seated on the train. This confrontation took place on coach 2710. The suspect only spoke in Spanish to the woman when confronted and refused to open the photos app on his phone. The suspect then fled to another coach and disembarked at an unknown station between Bronte and Union.
The suspect is described by the HRPS as:
- male
- approximately 40 years old and 5’6” tall
- black hair and an olive complexion
- spoke in Spanish
- wearing a grey hat and carrying a black laptop bag
Police have spoken to witnesses however are hoping someone may have taken a picture or video of the suspect at some point when he was confronted on the busy train.
