Caledon OPP have charged two drivers with impaired operation.
On July 18th just after 11:00 p.m., officers received a report of a vehicle in a truck yard on George Bolton Parkway.
Officers attended to investigate, grounds were formed that the driver’s ability to operate a vehicle was impaired and was arrested.
A 49-year-old from Caledon, was charged with:
• Operation while impaired – alcohol
• Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
Just hours later, officers on patrol on Highway 410 near Mayfield Road observed a vehicle being operated in a concerning manner.
The vehicle was stopped, grounds were formed that the driver’s ability to operate a vehicle was impaired and was arrested.
A 23-year-old from Rexdale, was charged with:
• Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
• Novice driver – B.A.C. above zero
Both accused are scheduled to attend Court in August to answer to the charges.
The driver’s licences were also suspended for 90 days, and the vehicles impounded for seven.
