Centre 2000 in Erin is set for exciting upgrades this summer, thanks to a $1.9 million grant from the Canada Infrastructure Program.
Improvements include a new fire system, HVAC system, generator, fresh paint, new flooring, and upgraded washrooms.
The facility will also get a refreshed snack bar and Shamrock Room kitchen.
During renovations, alternative accommodations for user groups will be provided, and the rink at the Hillsburgh Community Centre will open in September.
The outdoor grounds, including the baseball diamond and soccer fields, will remain open to the public.
